The Housing Credit Certification Professional (HCCP) Program is a national professional certification that sets professional competency standards for housing credit professionals involved in developing, investing in, allocating and managing housing credit properties. The credential is awarded by the Board of Governors of the Housing Credit Certification Board, under the auspices of the Multifamily Division of the National Association of HomeBuilders (NAHB)..
The Delaware Chapter of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (DE NAHRO) invites you and your staff to attend this very important training opportunity. Participants will:1) Increase their knowledge of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program; and 2) Be eligible for consideration for the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), a national designation.
Training and exam will cover the following topics:

— Role of State Agencies — Available Unit Rule
— Rent Calculations & Utility Allowances — Credit Calculation
— Minimum Set-Aside Tests — Critical Deadlines
— Extended Use Issues — Acquisition/Rehab Issues

— Student Rules — Employee Units
— Recertification Requirements — Non-Profit Requirements
Attendees who complete the training and pass the exam will be eligible to apply for the HCCP designation.

About the Instructor
Instructor will be A.J. Johnson of A.J. Johnson Consulting Services, Inc. Mr. Johnson is nationally recognized by the National Association of HomeBuilders as one of the leading expert and trainer in affordable housing today specializing in Housing Tax Credits and Fair Housing. He will discuss the Housing Credits in detail and administer the exam that is required for the National HCCP Designation.

Day 3 will be for those taking the Test.
DE NAHRO Member $300 for Training
Non-DE NAHRO Member $350 for Training
HCCP EXAM – Registering for the HCCP Exam must be done directly online. Those that register for the training and note they are interested in taking the exam will be forwarded a link to register and pay for the exam. Online registration for the HCCP exam is $204.
